For cleaning up your carpet or furniture too you have to act quickly. If your carpet is stained with coffee, you can take a teaspoon of a mild detergent and mix it with half litre water. Put this mixture on the stain and after sometime try blotting it with a clean cloth both the stain and the mixture. If the stain is not removed using this mixture, you can try a 50/50 solution of water and vinegar and try cleaning it the same way as you did with the detergent. Another solution to this problem is to use liquid hand washing detergent, white vinegar and warm water. Mix a tablespoon of detergent with 2 cups of warm water and a tablespoon of vinegar together and blot the stain with it. Clean it with cold water after the stains is removed. These methods if used can help in cleaning coffee stains off the carpets.

Once the stain is removed, clean the surface with cold water so that the solution is removed completely. These tips are quite helpful and come handy when in need of a solution. However, you cannot use it on each fabric, as some of them are best and safest to be cleaned by professional upholstery or carpet cleaner to avoid any damages.
