Rather then use environmentally dangerous chemicals to remove grease stains why not try these methods:

Aloe Vera

Everyone knows how good aloe vera is for the skin, but most people don’t realise that you can use it to remove grease stains. All you need to do is soak the stained garment or material in water, and then blot the stain with aloe vera gel. Scrub it hard and then rinse and let it air dry. If the stain has not gone repeat the process. Aloe vera itself can stain but as you are washing it straight away you remove it and the original stain.

Chalk

If you are able to treat the stain straight away, chalk is an excellent way to remove grease stains. Rub the chalk into the stain and let it dwell for a time – a few hours at least. The chalk will absorb the grease. Brush the chalk away and see if the stain has gone. If not, rub the chalk in again and then launder. Air dry after laundering as heat tends to set stains.
